Dr. Ishman focused on a career in Emergency Medicine, eventually becoming Board Certified. After nearly 20 years in the emergency room, he shifted his focus back to primary care and preventive medicine. His goals are to keep patients well and prevent disease, rather than trying to deal with full-blown medical problems that could be prevented.
