Presents at National Age Management Conference

November 10, 2011, Charleston, S.C. - Charleston age management physician, Dr. Michale J. (Mickey) Barber, recently presented at the 11th Clinical Applications for Age Management Medicine Conference, which was held November 3 - 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Barber, CEO and chief medical officer for Cenegenics Medical Institute in Charleston, presented during a special session on November 3, which focused on "Hormone Balance and Restoration." The subject of her discussion was "Stress, Exercise and the Impact of Hormones."

A board certified anesthesiologist and former assistant professor at Tulane University, Dr. Barber serves as CEO and chief medical officer of Cenegenics Carolinas, where she works with patients to help manage the aging process through a customized regimen of exercise, nutrition, and hormone optimization. As a member of the advisory board for the Age Management Medicine Group, she is regularly an invited speaker on the topic at conferences across the country and has been quoted in Vogue magazine and on MSNBC.com.
